Driving Directions

Volcano Brewing Company is located 8 km North of Tilaran, on the western shore of Lake Arenal. We are on Route 142, the road that circles Lake Arenal.

To reach us from Liberia or San Jose, take Highway 1 to Canas. Leave Highway 1 at Canas and go to Tilaran. Entering Tilaran there is a Total Gas Station at the top of the hill at the first big intersection in Tilaran. Take a hard left just after the Total Station, following the signs heading to Nuevo Arenal and La Fortuna.

4 km outside Tilaran, there is an intersection and a fork in the road. Go left. We have a sign on top of the bus-stop at the intersection pointing to Volcano Brewing Company.

Go another 4 km, and we are on your left. There is one more sign 1 km before our entrance, and then a large sign at the entrance to Volcano Brewing Company.
